We're looking for a Pre-Sales Solution Consultant who is comfortable within a fast-moving environment and can learn quickly in our growing team. As a Pre-Sales Solution Consultant, you will help initiate, nurture and close deals. Your role will be to help drive top line revenue by coming up with effective and practical solutions for clients. You will have a framework within which you will be able to manage negotiations and closing of a deal.
Job role of Presales Consultant
The Pre Sales Consultant coordinates technical pre-sales activities.
He/she technical and product knowledge to customers via good written, verbal and presentation skills.
Assists in all levels of technical account planning.
The Pre Sales Consultant supports the successful achievement of sales targets by analysing the technical needs and proving products’
Ability to deliver the IT solutions proposed to prospects or existing customers.
Own the project scoping, estimation & proposal creation process
Provide first-line technical support for software evaluations
Support with requirement gathering & technical qualification
Periodically follow up (Email & Cold Calling) with leads/prospect and update the status(pipeline) in CRM
Provide answers to (technical) questions in a Request for Information or a Request for Proposal
Build custom demo’s
Deliver Proof Of Concepts (Online/Onsite)
Build technical relationship with prospects or existing customers
Provide any technical input needed for proposals
Competitor & Market Analysis
Coordinate with R & D team to ensure accurate and timely resolution of technical issues that may arise during the pre-sales process
Must have strong interpersonal and communication skills
Must be a self-starter and relentless in attitude
Excellent presentation and demonstration skills
Fluency in English is essential
Excellent organization skills
Good listening skills
Must be detail oriented and inquisitive in order to be able to effectively capture requirements
2+ years' experience as a pre-sales consultant working with product/service organizations
Proven ability to multi task and prioritize under pressure
Should work closely with product and technical leads and take part in scope, estimation and Proposal Preparation.
Have prior experience in writing large proposals (ex: $500k to $5M)
Expertise in proactively creating opportunities and submitting proposals is a great plus
