After getting acquired by Reliance, Now floats wanted to set up the house in order with respect to HR policies and process. Nexivo has guided the HR team how they will able to manage their daily HR chores, and showcased the Hire to Retire journey with a time line approach.

Introduction:

Now Floats is a provider of a SaaS platform for creating online websites, specifically designed for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). The platform can be accessed through SMS or a mobile app, and helps businesses establish an online presence through intelligent Search Engine Optimization (SEO). In addition to creating a website, Now Floats also offers a subscription service that allows businesses to update their offerings with the latest content and enables them to track real-time search queries that bring visitors to their site. This allows business owners to engage with customers and stay up-to-date on the latest trends. Now Floats uses machine learning to power its local discovery and customer engagement services. The company aims to simplify the digital journey for businesses in India and help them achieve the highest discoverability online.

The Business:

Now Floats is a technology company based in Hyderabad, India, that was founded in 2012. The company has since been acquired and has received a total of $37.2 million in funding, with the latest funding round being a Series B round worth $6.67 million in January 2020. According to Tracxn, Now Floats is ranked 20th among 1211 competitors and has a valuation of $58 million as of March 2019. The company currently has a workforce of 1,010 employees as of September 2022.

The Challenges:

● Client was utilizing Excel and an internal application to manage leaves of absence because there was no staff management system in place.

● Reconciling leaves and attendance was quite painful.

● No system exists to keep track of employee activities, headcount, and exits.

● There is no software to monitor hiring operations or recruiter performance.

Finding a solution:

We suggested using Zoho People to handle the entire employee life cycle, starting with posting job openings in Zoho Recruit, sourcing and associating candidates, selecting the best candidates, skill-set mapping, and interviews. The candidate transfers from Zoho Recruit to Zoho People after accepting the job offer. The pre-onboarding (candidate onboarding) gets triggered, all required documents are attached by the candidate and approved by the HR. All the organization policies were configured and customized for effective HR operations and control.

Implementation and Result:

In under 1.5 months, Zoho Recruit and Zoho People were implemented. There were HR controls in place, allowing them to keep an eye on all tasks, approvals, and leave administration linked to HR. They were able to improve shift adherence thanks to the attendance module. A connection with the employees was formed through announcements and recurrent birthday, promotion, and anniversary greetings.
